If you think the price is too high realize that most people spend more than this at Starbucks in a 2-week period! Besides my time is limited and I can only fit in so many clients who want real results not gimmicks or fluff.
I take a somewhat holistic approach to training. I don't focus on just one area such as strength. Each training session will incorporate joint mobility for healthy joints, strength for toning muscles and/or building them if that is your goal, cardio conditioning, flexibility and as always free nutritional and lifestyle advice.

1-on-1 Personal Training

This is for the new kettlebell user, athletes or anyone who wants private or specialized attention.

We will spend the first session evaluating and learning safe and effective lifting technique both with kettlebells and for life in general. This builds the foundation, and then in subsequent sessions we will use the kettlebells to get the best workout of your life! I use a variety of exercise equipment and drills to make training effective and fun.

The real value of 1-on-1 training is that it is totally customized to YOUR needs as opposed to the larger group classes that are for overall fitness.

If you participate in a sport that mandates certain training equipment (powerlifting, etc.) or want to use other training equipment other than kettlebells we will do that.

I also will provide free nutritional and lifestyle advice at the end of the training session as time allows. Pick my ear before you leave!

Small Group Training

2 to 4 People. Bring your friends or family and receive a discount. Just like the 1-on-1 training we will begin with the fundamental basics and progress to more advanced drills all the while getting stronger, loosing body fat and feeling great.

If the group grows to more than 6 people you will automatically get the Large Group Rates as a bonus!

And as always, free nutritional and lifestyle advice at the end of class as time allows.

Group Classes

For anyone who likes the fun and excitement of a group setting. Group classes will range from 3-10 people on average.

WARNING! Group kettlebell training is fun and addictive, you will never go back to aerobic classes again!

This isn't sweatin' to the oldies! We combine kettlebells, bodyweight exercises and sweat in a fun and intense interval style. Brian's unique approach makes the class challenging but flexible enough for individuals of all fitness levels. All Group Classes cover the areas of Joint Mobility, Strength, Cardio Conditioning, Muscle Tone, Fat Loss and Flexibility/ Range of Motion and Injury Prevention.

Additionally, Brian keeps the class sizes small so he can work with special needs, one person may not be able to do a certain exercise because of an injury. Brian will semi-customize this person's training in the class to ensure they work around injuries, etc.

My Training Approach

My personal philosophy is that if you are injured you can't exercise or enjoy life. So the first order of business is I teach new recruits how to lift safely and protect their joints at the same time. I use unique approaches from powerlifting, yoga, Physical Therapy, kettlebell sport, martial arts, the RKC school of training and more. Whatever is going to make someone safer and stronger is what I use. And no matter how advanced you are I will look for your weaknesses and areas that you can improve on and I WILL make you better, stronger, safer!


I deal with 3 main types of clients:

1. The hard-core men and women who want to get strong, powerful, build unstoppable endurance and injury-proof shoulders, back and joints for sport, work or just to be among the top 1% of people walking around who could kick some serious butt if trouble were to arise.

2. The man or woman who wants to get 'fit'. What does 'fit' mean, well that is up to the individual. That could mean lean and tone so they look good in a swim suit or that could mean strong enough to pick up the baby seat out of the back of the car easier.

3. People with back, shoulder or knee injuries or people who would classify themselves as 'out-of-shape'. People who need to develop a base level of strength, mobility and health in their body before moving onto more strenuous exercise and to just plain enjoy life without pain.

Each needs a unique approach both with exercise selection, nutrition/lifestyle advice and my own personality. I doubt very much that the woman in her 50's who is exercising for the first time in her life would want me yelling, "20 SQUAT THRUSTS!" at her. On the other hand the hard-core man or woman might not want me coddling them along, they want it straight, to the point and brutal, along with an evil smile of course.

Bottom line, I will ask you how you are motivated, by a supportive trainer or a trainer who barks commands, you get to decide. Different strokes for different folks.

How does personalized program design work?

It's simple actually:

Step 1: Choose one of the personalized program design options above, 1, 3 or 6 month. You will be taken to my PayPal shopping cart where you can pay by any major credit card or by using a PayPal account.

Step 2: I will receive an email confirmation from PayPal showing that you have paid and which service you chose. I will then get in contact with you by the email address you supply to PayPal. If you wish you may also send me an email with your full name and preferred email address that I should contact you through.

Step 3: I will send you a list of questions to answer about yourself which you can email back to me. These questions will cover your goals and where you are at now. I will also inquire about your sleep quality and hours per night, your nutrition, stress levels, what equipment you have to train with, etc. Upon reviewing your information I will no doubt have some follow up questions which I will send to you.

Step 4: Once I have all of the information I need I will then begin creating your customized training program. I will also include nutrition advice. This could take anywhere from 5-7 days. Why so long, because this isn't going to be a cookie cutter program, I take your time and money seriously so it will be customized to YOU. I will email your customized program to you. It is like having a fitness book written especially for you with your goals in it. What more could you ask for? Unlimited email access to me for your entire month? Sure that too!

Step 5: Once I email you your training program I expect you to email me every Friday with you training log and any notable comments I should be aware of. I can provide a Microsoft Word template for you to fill out if you choose but it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just writing it in email will do. If you do not email me your training log do not expect me to remind you. I expect you to be an adult and take control of your own life.

Step 6: During this whole time you will have unlimited email access to me. As I used to say in the corporate training world, "there is no such thing as a dumb question, so ask away." I will answer promptly, I check email daily except Sunday, at worst it may take 2 days for a reply. If you do not get a reply from me then your email server is blocking my email.

Frequently Asked Questions About Personalized Program Design

Q. Do I need kettlebells to sign up for your program design?

No, I will work with whatever equipment you have access to, including your own bodyweight in your hotel room if that is all you have. Kettlebells are great but not the only way to make progress.

Q. Do I need a gym membership?

No, most of my clients do not have gym memberships. If you do have one and prefer to train at a gym, no problem.

Q. Do you design a custom nutrition plan also?

I give nutrition advice and will gladly give you tips and review your nutrition with you. However I don't give you a full blown nutrition program with a daily menu like I will with your training program. I will recommend my favorite though and provide you will calorie calculators, and many other tools.

Q. If I sign up for three months do I follow the same original program and just get 2 extra months of email consultation?

No, I will adjust your program each month you train with me to either keep your training fresh or to meet the new goals you have. Maybe month one your goal was to lose body fat and this month it is to gain some muscle.

Q. What if I don't know how to do an exercise you put in my program?

Well that depends. If it is an exercise that can be easily learned via pictures and written description I will provide that. If a video demonstration is required I can usually provide that over the internet as well, especially with my new video demonstration page. If the exercise is too challenging to learn without in-person coaching then we will use a different exercise. There are plenty of great exercises out there, no need to limit ourselves to just one.

Q. I am lazy, like to complain and blame others for my problems; am I a fit for your training?

Not on your life, go away! I only deal with people who respect themselves and others and am not interested in dealing with personal drama. If you are ready to make great progress and take responsibility for your life then don't wait, sign up now!

Q. Are your programs for women also?

Frankly I don't think they are but anyway. I have spent thousands of hours and many years acquiring the knowledge that I have. I continuously increase my knowledge through ongoing training and application. You don't expect a Lawyer to take your case for free do you? You don't expect an Accountant to do your taxes for free do you? Then please don't expect a professional Strength & Conditioning coach to design your training program for free. It doesn't work that way my friend. Besides, I'd bet most of you spend more at Starbucks in a month than and that isn't even healthy for you.
